This is a 100 Series DOT half beanie shorty helmet which is light weight and small in construction. Approximate weight is 30 oz and this helmet measures 8.5 inches from ear to ear and 10.5 inches from front to back. The new EPS liner is only 1 inch thick. Different sizes are done using three different shell sizes.

Nice Helmet, But... May 17, 2010

Quality-wise this is a nice helmet but it makes your head look like a  mushroom.  I was looking more for the sleek beenie fit and at the same time have a helmet that would really protect the portion of my head that's covered.  I have a cool novelty helmet that looks great, but I'd probably get more protection from a shower cap.  So, if you're looking for style you might want to make another choice.  I kept and still wear this helmet on Hot Goldwing days but it's in the garage on Hot VTX days.  Hope this helps!
